Our Programs
DTNW offers a comprehensive range of classes for all age groups, including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and dance exercise. Our curriculum caters to both recreational and pre-professional dancers, emphasizing classical ballet training and expanding to include other dance styles to enrich our students’ experiences.

Our Facility
Located at 2811 Bridgeport Way West #24, University Place, WA 98466, our studio features two dance spaces, each equipped with high-quality flooring ideal for dance. Our facilities are designed to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable as they explore their dance potential under the guidance of our experienced instructors.

Melanie Kirk-Stauffer’s Dance Theatre Northwest, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, conducts its programs and public activities under the name Dance Theatre Northwest (DBA).
Our organization was originally incorporated under the name Melanie Kirk-Stauffers Astralrhythmics and later legally updated to Melanie Kirk-Stauffer’s Dance Theatre Northwest. We continue to operate under the same EIN and nonprofit status.

Sarah Witherup supports Dance Theatre Northwest through studio operations, technology management, advertising, and marketing initiatives. She oversees digital systems, website management, and community outreach efforts to help expand access to dance education in the South Puget Sound region.
